Record Notes & Research

This soldier was Taken on Strength with the 18th Battalion but did not serve with the battalion. He arrived at the Canadian Infantry Base Depot, Étaples, France on 17 Nov 1918, six days after the Armistice was signed and put into effect. He was sent to the Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp on the 20th and stayed at the CCRC until 02 Feb 1919. He was Struck of Strength from the 18th Battalion on 20 Jan 1919.
